One day around the 2 or 3 month mark of my quit, I posted an SOS and counted down to the 3rd reply. I was going to smoke that day because life was just too hard. One of the replies and I wish I could remember who it was, told me I had made my NOPE pledge for that day and that I couldn't smoke - that day.
I was madder than a wet hen. But realized I had made that NOPE pledge to me KimJ - not QSMB, not my hubby, not family, but to KimJ. I vowed to get thru that day and not pledge NOPE the next day in order for me to smoke. But lo and behold, somewhere between here and there the crave actually went away. Thank you whoever called me out on my NOPE pledge that day!
