Nov 6, 2011 I decided " I had enough with this sh*t "

I quit because I just got tired of the life under a rock, dark and with not enough air to breathe waiting for the day to get crushed!

Practice does not make it perfect, makes it permanent. Practice the right things!

Quitting is by far the best decision for the rest of your life.

If a Doctor gives you 6 months to live, would you start living after the first three? Quit now!

Frank, we have already determined that Marcie is a special snowflake but are you saying that Nancy could be one too? :)

The process of quitting smoking doesn’t end with the last cigarette. It’s not quitting itself, the real key is staying quit!

Love the picture, Nancy.  I have my tree sitting and looking at me in the LR, but it is pretty naked right now.  I usually wait until the 10th for some reason.  It's a fake tree, so not really nekkid.  It has lights, and left-over tinsel from last year :D  :D  :D .

btw, wanted to let you know I rescued bvVocVw.gif from Photobucket he//, and you can feel free to use it from my imgur now :)  .

Wonderful news!!

Oh I love that old black and white photo of the family outside that gorgeous old house!  History please?

That is my mother, about 2 years old, my great uncle, my great grandmother and great grandfather in Stroud Oklahoma about the year 1919.

My great grandparents arrived from Oslo, Norway and purchased that house before Oklahoma became a state. They raised 14 children there and the house still stands until this day.

I will try to post christmas decoration photos next week. We won't be decorating here. Instead we are going to my uncle's in Virginia Beach to decorate the house he built with his wife who died last year after being married 70 years. It will be his last Christmas there as he will be going into assisted living soon after that.

Thanks Nancy! I hope he is too. It was his choice, Nobody suggested to him. He still takes care of himself and drives, but realized he didn't want to be a burden or danger on the road on anyone any longer.

I am so happy your mom is doing so well! :)

Thank you!  One thing Mom really likes is that my nephew Will put two bird feeders outside her window.  She has birds, squirrels and chipmunks all the time.  She loves watching them.  If your uncle's place is set up where that is a possibility, I would highly recommend.

Great idea! he used to have squirrels eat peanuts out of his hand at home on his back deck and also had bird feeders.

Wife wants Christmas lights, me don't want to climb that high on ladder with a cast ... me no want to climb on ladder ever again. She is not very happy since all the decorations are up on the garage attic and I ain't climbing up to get them.  Thinking about calling my nephew to bring them down.  :?:
