I got through an exam as a non-smoker!

I had more thoughts of smoking leading up to this and I thought if I get through it I’ve made a big statement to about staying quit.

Things began to get better when I realized I would remain quit even if things never got any better.

Thanks guys.

I don’t see the nicodemon much these days except when I’m stressed!

I think only someone who’s quitting could understand what this is like.

We do understand - Although fewer & farther apart, there are still many things that can trigger the thought of smoking. But we all know that the only way for it to pass is to not “give in”; to keep choosing to say NOPE. Always congratulate yourself every time you can say “ I just did ??? & I did it without smoking”. That is fantastic!!!

Fabulous!
The thoughts sneak up in the weirdest of places, popped into a shop today that haven't been in since I smoked and the thoughts ramped up as it's where I bought my poison. Bought chocolate instead!

Way to go gitw. Now use that knowledge that you can not smoke during your most stressful times to propel yourself into the forever quit you need. You are now stronger than this addiction! KTQ!
