Welp Im here again and who knows whos still around from the last time I was here.  Kinda sad the reason I am back but I want to make sure this sticks.  4 years and 4 months ago I quit smoking cigarettes and told myself I would never smoke another cigarette again.  So I have kept that promise...  The issue is about a year ago I was having a tough time with some work and health things and I started puffing on cigars...  Wouldnt you know you can pretty much smoke them like a cigarette if you try hard enough....  So on and off I have been smoking and lately more on...  I quit 3 days ago and stopping smoking them is nothing compared to cigarettes just dont have that love affair with them that I did with Marb Lights.  So Im back and look forward to checking in with you guys.  Ill see if I can figure out how to reset that counter thing..

Welcome back Hoff...........I often wondered how ex smokers smoke cigars and not relapse.

It's easier to keep a quit than to start one.

Welcome back! Sorry to hear you lost your quit and congratulations on your new quit.

I guess any type of interaction with nicotine is doomed to end up with full-fledged smoking sooner or later unless you notice this early on and do something about it - just like what you did.

Good to be back everyone.  I like seeing all you new quitters at the beginning of your journey.  I promise it gets easier and thanks for the support.  Its soo crazy that your mind even after soo many years reverts back to - smoking will help, smoking will make it better...  unfortunately it proves what an addict I am...

Hi Hoff, congratulations on restarting the quit. I blew my previous quit smoking because of stress. Same as in your case, the cigarettes didn't solve any problem ;-)

Yup - always good to remind ourselves why NOPE is so integral to staying quit.
Welcome back and congrats on your new quit
