I was driving down the road next to this young mother,  the inside of her car was totally filled with a cloud of  smoke look alike, so dense I could not see the inside. Somehow she rolled down the window and I could see then 2 kids in their car seats in the backseat.  Poor little fellows.!

I have a feeling this is going to be my only thread that will go for more than 2 pages.  Better yet, it is going to be one that will get bumped to the main front page quite often, just like anything I   have written before.   Isn't it pathetic?   :puke:

I think you may well have a winner here Frank ......I can vent loads

Like ......please don't stand on the stairs of the office with all your mates when I have to walk through your smoke........and yes I used to do it I know

Maybe we should set a mutual franchise up Frank .......people vent on here and I serve them a large drink in the Arms to calm them down ....think we have a winning combination

It would be nice if people who have taken up other addictions when quitting smoking did not feel it necessary to advertise it here at this board.  Lungs are important to some people here.  There is room for a lot of joking ... but about lungs and taking on doing further damage to them ... not much.  It's insulting.  Yesterday a member was having part of her lung removed.  And another member just lost her dad from lung cancer.

And I've tried to help people who were quitting smoking while not drinking and having all that boozing advertising on here doesn't help much either.  It drowned a couple of people trying.  They just couldn't get over the pub talk flashing.

Maybe this forum has lost its focus.

A crave passes whether you smoke or not

I am surprised not many people flooded our QSMB this thanksgiving, Cold and frozen turkeys were cheap!  Some stores even gave it to you free for spending 50 bucks, that is like 8 packs of ciggies.

Is like a perfect storm.. You go to buy some ciggies, and then they give you a free cold turkey to go with it, pay and go to your car, and then come back and return them cigarettes and get your money back, then buy some chocolate, a bottle of wine, grapes, and a gallon of pineapple-coconut ice cream. That is the best deal in the whole damn world if you ask me !  Go home with a Cold turkey quit, eat them chocolates, get drunk with the wine, have some ice cream and then eat the darn gobbler.! Only in America, believe me !
