Well Wintering since you've been here for a few yrs then you know how this board is so why feel bummed cause we don't see e cigs as a quit method-maybe if more e cig people say their doing o nictene or quit vaping then MAYBE but most likely not would be accepted here. Basically the way they invaded this website & implied we're a bunch of igornant idiots being nic free & that their way is so sweet maybe then they should of just left instead of keep pushing their quit method.

greenlover, I'm very happy for you that you had the strength of character to be able to quit without recourse to e-cigarettes. I hope you would understand that those of us who are trying to quit with the assistance of e-cigarettes need somewhere to go to talk about our struggles, because we do have them. For some of us, nicotine replacement is not enough, and even nicotine replacement PLUS simulated smoking isn't enough, at least not right away.

Kudos to you for doing it the hard way, and stay strong because there is no sense in picking up a new bad habit. E-cigs are very new and there is no proof they are safe for long-term use. If I were in your shoes, I would never go anywhere near e-cigs.
