27 days smoke and nicotine free.

I'm starting to have to think about and/or verify what day I'm on.  I see this as a good thing.  It means I'm not so obsessed with the thought of smoking that I'm ticking down each hour of each day, I'm starting to just live as a non-smoker and time is passing.   I remember from my 91 day quit (my longest ever) this being a mark in quit time for me, where I have to check my counter or my phone app to see what day I'm on and this was, from previous experience the point at which it really started to get easier for me.  More and more time passes between each of those nasty craves like I had the other day and I become less and less enamored by smoking.  It takes time.

'Zacktly, Rob! I just did that this morning- checked my days on my phone app while waiting in line for my (decaf but delicious) coffee and I said to myself, "Huh! I have to check my days on here. THAT'S a good sign!" Keep strapped into that SNOT rocket!

That's truly a good sign, loose the count of the time passed - I tend to believe it's because the future became more important than the past.

Sorry if I sounded somewhat grandiloquent.

Way to go Rob.

Hey Robbie Boy!,

Great to hear that your becoming less consumed with it all, while remaining focussed on your quit.

I can't remember what day it is for me...... but, I have far nicer things in my life to focus on than silly, smelly, sticks of carcegenic crap..... Like for example, a beautiful early morning run alongside the river, topped with brightly coloured barges, while the sun gently warmed my damp face. Got some lovely Banana, Expresso and Walnut Gluten Free Muffins in the oven.

Who needs crappy fags anyway.....

lotsoflove to all

will post some pics later of my muffins and my second run.... dont want muffintops!!
