If they didnt, they wouldn't sell as much if you knew that they were still good for 3-5 years after the expiration date. Correct? Same with a lot of scripts. I know there are some that expire because they REALLY expire. Normally if that is the case they will have a million warnings on them!!
But, a week or months with the patch, I myself, dont think it matters. BUT THAT IS ONLY MY OPINION!

I will not ever used expired patches again. A friend gave me some dated 2013, I figured fine, maybe the glue won't hold up well or it just wont be that effective, ect.
I was wrong and my ego doesn't like admitting that.
Within about 15 minutes after putting it on, it felt like I dumped a full pack of smokes in my system. Feel weird, sick and have a excess nicotine headache. Pulled it off, threw all the old ones out.
Whatever the chemicals they used to get the ting to extend over a 24 hour period must be all gone or something.
Lesson well learned.
