I feel so sorry for you mate. I know things have been hard on you, hey snus has nicotine right so gum will too, you could at some point ween off the gum but use it for now and see what changes develop positively. Just don't turn that into smoking cigarettes.

I don't think you are ruining anything but more thinking of a reasonable alternative. Just call me John dude.

You are very welcome Alex, I am always happy to help you and will always be here for you, it's expected to go dizzy as the dopamine is probably messing around with the pleasure system, you'll be okay. I have no nicotine here so I can only get dizzy on pills and it doesn't happen :P

Are you taking any medications that could be effecting you differently now that you don't have nicotine in your body?? Just wondering since you seem to have a huge problem with sleeping. If so, maybe a trip to the doctor? Queenb

Did a side effects search on Ginseng..

Ginseng
All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome when using Ginseng:

Agitation; diarrhea; headache; nervousness; trouble sleeping.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur when using Ginseng:
Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); vaginal bleeding.

This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your health care provider. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. To report side effects to the appropriate agency, please read the Guide to Reporting Problems to FDA.

Not sleeping...Maybe it is the Ginseng?? Queen B

If you have vaginal bleeding...go straight to the hospital... Sorry could not resist.

You can do this, my suggestion is follow the directions on any NRT program.

On 9/26/10 at the age of 39 I had a mild heart attack due to a narrow artery. The only reason is smoking. No high BP, or cholesterol, or clots.

Well, the gum has to be better than smoking, right?

If you absolutely had to have a fix, better that than the death sticks!
